Avery finally better!

Well Avery had her cold for about 2 weeks and was finally (!!!) getting better. Then a week ago Friday I went to get her up and she had the flu - she was very sick, couldn't keep anything down. So she was a down unit all day Friday - we ended up taking her to the doctor because they were concerned about dehydration. Luckily she didn't get dehydrated. The next day, Nate was bed ridden with the flu. He hardly left the bed the entire day. I spent the day hanging out with Avery, going to Target, etc. Well Saturday night when he started feeling a little bit better, I all of a sudden felt extremely nauseated. Yes, I too had gotten the flu! Luckily Nate was feeling better on Sunday so I was able to just lay in bed - not that I could have gotten up if I wanted to! By Monday we were all in better shape. Fortunately, I had Monday off for MLK day so it allowed me to fully recuperate Avery and I met Cortney for lunch at the mall and shopped around. Crossing our fingers, we returned to work (and school) on Tuesday. So far so good......

Avery's First Visit to the Park

Avery has been under the weather with a nasty cold for the past week so we were so happy to get her out of the house and hanging out in the sun. We went to the park with Mary and Carson - we had a fun time. Avery was able to sit in the swing by herself but she sat with me when Dad pushed us in the swing.
